Been here a couple of times now and always had good service. Staff are welcoming and check on us throughout our stay. The food is lovely, and the atmosphere is great. I particularly like how dog friendly the place is. I have two bouncy Labradors and they are always welcome there, and the staff are very friendly towards them. I would definitely recommend
Lovely place serving great food. I went with my partner for breakfast and we had the lounge breakfast, which is essentially a full English. It was very good, the staff were friendly and polite. You could also sit outside on the square in abingdon and that's beautiful too. The service was a tad slow but it was busy and we were having a lovely time with our apple juice, so that's fine!
We really enjoyed the food, but were not initially aware that table service was not included which impacted on our experience. The positive response from the owner has led me to review/ improve my original rating. Wishing Pablo well.
We go to Pablo in Abingdon on a regular basis as we live in the town. Last night my meal was not up to the usual high standard. I raised the matter with the staff and they dealt with it brilliantly. Quickly replaced the meal for one which was perfect, gave me a complimentary drink and the on duty manager personally came over to ensure all was well and we were now all satisfied. The staff are always fab and the atmosphere is always welcoming. Great place and lucky to have this in Abingdon. Highly recommend.
Have been here in the day and didn't feel overly impressed but decided to use the night cafe and it's quite a different feel. So this is a cafe where you order at the bar or by QR code. It's completely accessible and has more of a 'bar' feel at night with an actual bar, bar table, normal table and Chatty Cafe scheme sofa. We started at the bar table but grabbed the chatty sofa when it was free as my son wanted to play board games. The staff were really nice and attentive despite it not being table service. The decor is really nice and the music ambient. You can't really play board games as pretty much all the pieces were missing but I mentioned this politely and the staff member came back and told me he had already sent a message to the manager about this. I would definitely come again if I can get the sofa as it's relaxing a place as your own home.
